Things I'm Grateful For - Q

Tuesday, May 4, 2010

 is for quiet.

Sometimes I just like it quiet, especially at home. Life is full of so much noise. Audible noise like traffic, chatter, commercials. And visual noise like billboards, TV, the internet. I need quiet time to detox.

A quiet house calms my mind.

Today I'm grateful for quiet calmness.

What are you grateful for today?

    Great post!
I love how calm my house is today! It is just me and the dogs....I have my balcony door open and the sun is shinning in :)

Diana - sunny mornings are my favorite, my kitties love the open balcony door too!

Marie - that's always something to be grateful for!

    Kayla - so true!

  5. I couldn't agree more! I seem to have some kind of music constantly playing through out the day. I always register the peace I feel on the rare occasion that it is off!

  6. So true Lexi! I love music too, especially in the car. If for some reason it's not on it takes a moment to adjust to the silence.

  7. "There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart"

I picked up on your blog about being grateful, and thought you might appreciate this quote.

I am a new author of a book titled: When I Am Grateful
It's a gift book that outlines the 'stuff' that can happen to us everyday and then reminds
the reader how we can be grateful, even in the most challenging times.

You can view a book video on my site which gives you more insights.
