Coco Before Chanel

Monday, May 3, 2010

This weekend I watched Coco Before Chanel. What a visual treat! Audrey Tautou is one of my favorites and I've yet to watch a film of hers I didn't love. And what's not to love about this one? It's beautiful, it's fashion and biographies are the best!

Now I'm outfit inspired:

A boat neck stripe tee for day

Fabulous lounging pajama's for night

Simple black with layered necklaces for work

A little black dress for parties

Simple, basic, beautiful.

Next in my queue, Valentino - The Last  Emperor. Have you seen it?

  2. I watched Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky the other week, and just as well it is an eye candy from the 1st to the lsat minute.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any photos to share. The interiors and fashion (Especially Coco's character cloths) are unbelievable.

Go watch it, it's beautiful movie. You're going to love it!

  3. I'm more convinced than ever that I need to take a night to myself and watch this movie. A captivating woman and an inspiring fashion icon. Remind me why I haven't watched it yet? Time to inject some classic beauty into my life! I'll let you know what I think :)

  4. Galit - I just visited the movie website & I'm so intrigued! I hope I can find it on Netflix - thanks for the suggestion!

Brooke - You absolutely do. It's the perfect movie to watch alone - there is a bit of concentration because of the subtitles. I want to watch in again so I can just absorb the prettiness without concentrating! I watched all the special features afterward because I couldn't get enough!
