Ashlee's looking gorge on the November cover of Michigan Avenue magazine. I'm in love with her dip-dyed hair and haphazard layers. (I would love "bangs" like that but I fear without a professional daily blowout they would drive me bonkers, you?)

ReplyDeleteI have bangs and have to wet and blow dry them every day but it only takes me two minutes tops and that includes straightening them.
That is a gorgeous photo of her, wow! And I think you could do bangs like that even without a daily pro blow out. Two keys to bangs I've found are: blow dry your bangs right out of the shower even if you let the rest of your hair airdry (I often do this), and depending on the day and your hair's tendency to flip and frizz, a flat iron. Again not all over (unless you want all of your hair straight that is) just the bangs, with a slight curving action to your wrist as you pull down and to the side. Even the craziest, I-washed-my-hair-and-slept-on-it rats nest bangs are tamed this way!
