Left of Trend - New Site Launch!
Monday, April 4, 2011
I love learning of new finds from all of you so it's a pleasure when I can return the favor. There's a brand spanking new site in town and I have a feeling it's really going to knock your socks off...
In the fashion industry there's a little term we throw around called 'trend right'. In a nutshell, it means that a designer or store is on trend with purchases and offerings to the consumer at the right time. So what do you call it when someone is ahead of the curve? That's where Left of Trend comes in... (When I heard the name I instantly loved it, clever right?)
Left of Trend is the newest way to shop, social media style. I met founders Jim and Jason at the Chicago Fashion Foundation event earlier this month and had the pleasure of learning more about this social shopping experience. Think Rue La La, HauteLook and Ideeli with the ability share instantly with your connections, recommend items and view friends' favorites all while saving money on the hippest new designers, 'verge of greatness' products and speciality boutiques via flash sales. Team J - (ok, I made that up) scour for brands we love, plus more we'll adore, we just don't know it yet!
So guess what......today is the day - grand opening bay-bay. And because they're so awesome, Left of Trend is offering 10% off your first purchase for the first 2500 people who register for the site. (Hurry!)
Since I'm positive you'll 'like' this, head on over to Facebook and make it official :)
