Super Bowl XLVI!

Tuesday, February 7, 2012

This weekend we drove down to Indy to hang out in the Super Bowl Village (also known as 'the epicenter of awesome') which I must say was quite spectacular. Even though I wouldn't call myself a major football fan, I still love being around big crowds and witnessing the energy and excitement that comes with celebrating one of America's favorite pastimes. And it's always fun to be with friends and soak in some great people watching, including a few celebs! (My friend was sitting one row behind Lil Jon on her flight from New York, Ivanka Trump walked right by us with her husband, we saw Nicki Minaj pull out of her hotel and hubby got a picture with... see below!)

(my Jimmy John's cup made into nearly every photo. What can I say, I'm a fan.)

The city looked pretty. The weather was truly perfect.

We took flying photo's in front of our favorite teams...

We found $1,000,000,000 dollars!

But the real jackpot was meeting...
Kenneth!! (Jack McBrayer from 30 Rock)

Of course we watched the game and partied in the streets afterward (but we won't share pictures of that here) ;)

And now it's Tuesday and I wish you a happy one!

P.S. The other big event on Sunday was the arrival of Jason Wu at Target. Who got lucky? Spill the beans!

  1. ah Kenneth!! haha incredible!!!

  2. So jealous! What a great time!!

  3. Fun! And I love Kenneth, so cool that you met him!

  4. Ha! Looks like fun. I said last week was probably the one and only time I was jealous of my friends and family who live in Indy. Hehe.

  5. Looks like you guys had such a great time. I love your JJ product placement. :)

  6. Who's that hottie in the second pic? (whistle whistle) God I love Kenneth!

  7. hahaha. looks like you kids had way too much fun :)

  8. OMG you met Jack McBrayer! How cool, he's such a riot on 30 Rock. It looks like you had a fantastic Superbowl Sunday!

I shopped Jason Wu for Target online at midnight - it turned into a fun time, chatting with friends on Twitter as we all scavenged to complete our Wu wishlists. I was at a local Target today and they had just a few things left so I couldn't resist swiping up a dress there, too! Such a cute line.

  9. I love Kenneth! That would have made my day!

  10. Looks like you guys had an amazing time! Definitely not my cup of tea, but did you see the David Beckham for H&M ad? ;)

    Luis (my blog!)

  11. It doesn't bother anyone that these people found 1 trillion dollars!

You want to leave a comment? How very sweet of you!
