Who doesn't love a good theme party? For years I've dreamed of having a New Year's Day breakfast where everyone comes in their pajamas. I think I found my inspiration...
A pancake party sounds like loads of fun. I tend to like just plain ol' syrup on my pancakes. Sometimes I'll try something else (huckleberry syrup is good!), but usually I stick with maple.
my dad makes THE BEST hands down pancakes - i try to have him "teach" me - but i can never get them the same - just regular ole pancakes thinner then thin and just soooo delish! - i never ever order them out, b/c no one can tops my Dad's
GREAT party idea!!!! - might have to steal that one! *wink*
Ok, next time I'm making tiny pancakes because they look SO much more elegant than the big ones that I usually make! Butter and maple syrup for me, very boring, very traditional!
mmm, nom nom sounds about right. never tried 'em this way, but you got me contemplating, get it contemPLATING, he he. i usually go for good ol' buttermilk with yummy butter and syrup.
