San Francicso

San Francisco treated me well. The weather was gorgeous each day, perfect for exploring areas such as Union Square, the Marina, Ghirardelli Square and a view of the Golden Gate bridge. Also did a bit of shopping and acquired the perfect gray bag - requirements were 1. must coordinate with boots & 2. must have room enough for the camera - check and check. And there was certainly a bit of wine tasting and the devouring of delicious cuisine.

It was only my 2nd trip to the city and each has been incredibly short. I'd love to return and experience a bit more. Have you been to San Francisco? What are your favorites for dining, shopping and drinking?

  8. San Francisco brings back so many memories. I used to go every year growing up to visit family that lives there. It was trandition for us to go to Ghirhadelli and even at my old age of 30 I still go when I'm in town. It's so nostalgic to me. :)

  9. My best friend, Carmel, lives in San Fran. Every time she picks me up from the airport we make a stop downtown, in Nob Hill, at Bob's Donuts. Amazing donuts! And they are open 24 hours! Super popular local spot. It's also kinda fun to go to the Jollibee fast food place. It's a chain popular in the Philippines, that serves American fast food with a Filipino touch. They are now in America. (I know, a little funny) Kinda fun place.

  13. It's so fun to see you post pictures of sights that are so familiar to me!! I am so blessed to only live 4-ish hours away from such a lovely city!! Cannot wait to be there myself on Sunday... We still do all the tourist-y things when we go. We love to eat at Bubba Gump's on Pier 39. Not very original of us but still fun!!
