My New Fave Shade

Lately, I can't get enough nail color. It started with the polish strips and ever since I've been stalking nail polish groups on Flickr and perusing blogs for inspiration. Currently, mint is my shade of the moment. It pairs well with the current wardrobe: gray, white and navy (my 'tween colors of spring since brights feel out of place just yet.) Plus, when it catches my eyes I instantly think of Andes mints. Mmmmm .....

What shades are you loving for Spring/Summer?
Tried any fun nail trends lately? Color blocking is next on my list!

    LOVE mint. especially the essie shade. such a pretty color. idk if i'd wear it on my nails personally, but i think it looks fab on other girls!

    NYC (read, only $1!) Purple Pizzazz. It's not very springy, but I am loving it! It almost changes color from purple to a blue.

    I love mint green on nails, too! Unfortunately my nails are so brittle that I don't really sway from using OPI Nail Envy which is a clear and boring color : (

    I'm thinking I'm going to tackle mint this summer. I really like that Mac shade you included. I'm all about coral right now. Just bought the best coral summer cardigan.

    Mint is a great color, but I can't help but think about how Coco Chanel said that green wasn't the most particularly flattering color!

    I was actually just wearing Mint Candy Apple on my toes. It's one of my constant faves; I went through such an extreme black-or-white phase with nail polish (I mean, they go with everything so...) and the mint was just a great way to venture into color while still kind of maintaining the principles of black and white. Very minimalist, very chic.

    And I'm glad you linked to your other post because I just got my first pair of the Sally Hansen polish strips! I had to go for Kitty, Kitty. Very excited to try them out!
