A Braid Is My New Bun

Since I've been wearing a top knot / blogger bun for the past, oh, 100 days or so... I feel like it's time for something new.  (Plus, I'm sure my husband and friends are getting reeeally tired of looking at it.) Don't get me wrong, I'm still crazy over that pile of hair perched on my head, but with mandatory head covering weather coming up, I need something a little more hat friendly until spring comes 'round again. So... let's go with braids! Based on my pins, I seem to favor textured or messy looks, almost like it's been slept in. And I love how sweet or sassy they can be - leave it long, or make a crown, can't beat that!

    I wish I could run the Top Knot into the ground! I do not have the hair for it. Boo! You have perfect hair for it!

    Speaking of, please post photos once you perfect your braid look. I can only imagine how good it will look on you!

    I was seriously considering chopping my hair (so it would cuter under hats this winter) but now you're making me re-think it. These braids are pretty fantastic.

    When my hair was longer I loved rocking the side braid! It's so chic and easy. :-)

    I adore the braid- and was just thinking the same thing about hats! I love a good messy side braid.
